Yoga and Pilates Instructor

A Registered Nurse since 1987, Christa currently works as a Wellness Educator offering support to patients who must manage chronic conditions. She has achieved a certificate through AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators) as a Diabetes Para Educator.

With a passion for wellness she continued her education in that light becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2005. In 2010 she became certified to teach Pilates and holds a NETA(National Exercise Trainers Association) as a group exercise teacher. More recently she acquired her RYT-200 Yoga certification through Yoga Faith.

A believer in mind/body fitness for all ages she coordinated a group of volunteers to work at the North Beach School District. This group of “Fit girl” volunteers successfully trained 4th-6th grade participants to walk/run a local 5K.

Routinely, Christa offers Yoga and other fitness classes as fund raiser classes donating all monies to worthy non-profit organizations.

Married since 1985 to the man of her dreams, she and husband Ron have two daughters and five grandchildren. She and Ron co-teach a “Yoga for Back Pain series” using curriculum from Boston Medical Center “Back to health” study.  Ron is a Chiropractor and (NSCS) National Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Dr. Ron Rogers graduated summa cum laude from Western States Chiropractic College in 1989.  He feels fortunate to have been among the last students to have enrolled in a post-graduate orthopedics program taught by professional icon, Richard Stonebrink, DC.  In 1995, Dr. Rogers achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  

Dr.  Rogers has practiced in Ocean Shores, Washington since 1990.  In 2006, he was appointed by Governor Chris Gregoire to serve on the Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission.  He served as Chair of the Commission from 2009-2011 and was re-appointed for a second term with the Commission in 2010.  In 2011, he was elected to the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, The University of Western States.  Dr. Rogers has had papers published in the peer reviewed, "Journal of the Neuromusculoskeletal System," "Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics" and the "Strength and Conditioning Journal."  He has also written numerous articles for
In his free time, Ron enjoys running and other personal fitness pursuits.  He also enjoys motorcycling, hiking and community-theater.  In 2010, Ron and his wife Christa celebrated 25 years of marriage.  They have 2 beautiful daughters, 4 grandsons, and one granddaughter.
